What to expect
Korat Marathon links two familiar city landmarks: the start is at Thao Suranari Monument, usually called Ya Mo, and the finish is at Bung Ta Lua Park. The organiser and the AIMS race directory both list Sunday 8 November 2026. With the start and finish in different places, it is worth planning where runners and supporters will meet after the race.
There are four distances. The full marathon covers 42.195 kilometres and starts at 03:00; the 21.1-kilometre half marathon follows at 04:00. The 10-kilometre race begins at 05:00 and the 5-kilometre run at 05:30. These are Bangkok times. The organiser also publishes separate course maps and race-pack information for the distances, so use the material for the category you entered.
This is an established annual event: the AIMS directory records previous editions from 2022 to 2025 as well as the forthcoming race. The course brings a large organised running event into the city, while the four distances provide different options for registered participants. Spectators should arrange their meeting point around the official start and finish locations and follow the latest access instructions.
Announcement conditions
Registration and race-pack details are on the official organiser site. Routes may affect city roads; follow the latest road-closure notice.
