Korat Loifaa Marathon takes place at the upper reservoir of Lam Ta Khong Chonlaphawatthana Power Plant, on Khao Yai Thiang in Sikhio. The event is listed for 28–29 November, with 21.1-kilometre, 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre categories. Despite “Marathon” in the event name, the longest advertised distance is a half marathon rather than 42.195 kilometres.
The published programme divides the distances across the weekend. The 5-kilometre activity is listed for Saturday 28 November, with the half marathon and 10-kilometre races on Sunday 29 November. Runners should check the final organiser’s timetable before choosing an arrival time, especially when travelling for just one category.
The reservoir setting distinguishes this race from the city’s Korat Marathon earlier in November. They have different dates and different venues. Runlah and other running calendars agree on the Loifaa weekend at the upper reservoir. When arranging transport or accommodation, use Sikhio and Khao Yai Thiang as the location, and confirm bib-collection arrangements as well as the race-day journey.
