What to expect

D RUN for Life takes its running programme into Khao Yai National Park on 1 November. Daily News organises the event to support forest rangers, with part of the proceeds intended for the people protecting forest and wildlife. The programme offers a 15-kilometre run, a 5-kilometre family run and a 2-kilometre charity walk.

The organiser’s route description starts at the park’s Rescue Operations Centre and uses Thanarat Road. The longer route takes in areas around Sai Sorn Reservoir, Thung Kwang, the Khao Khiao checkpoint and Pha Kluay Mai before returning to the start. The shorter options have their own turning points, so participants should follow the route information for their entered distance rather than the longest course.

This is a scheduled event inside the national park, not a city-centre run in Korat. Travel planning should include the park’s entry arrangements and the organiser’s race access instructions. A race entry should not be treated as proof that any separate park charge is waived. Use the official event and registration links for the final race-day instructions.

Getting there & tips

Confirm park entry requirements and race access with the organiser before travel.

Use the latest schedule for your distance: published secondary timetables differ for the shorter events.

Check the organiser’s latest update and the forecast before setting off, especially for outdoor activities.
