What to expect

Cuesta X Trail brings a range of trail-running distances to Khao Yai Thiang in Sikhio over 7–8 November. The event base is the upper reservoir at Lam Ta Khong Chonlaphawatthana Power Plant. Advertised categories are 100, 55, 35, 13 and 8 kilometres, with very different demands depending on the distance entered.

The organiser’s published course records show why the category name is only a guide to the distance. CXT100 is recorded as 104.49 kilometres with 3,003 metres of climbing on 7 November. The CXT35 course on 8 November is listed as 34.11 kilometres with 1,076 metres of climbing. These are trail routes with elevation changes, not flat laps simply matching the rounded names.

The course platform, Runlah calendar and a separate running-trip provider agree on the 7–8 November weekend. Participants should use the current route record and race briefing for their category when planning training and travel. Check mandatory equipment, cut-off times and arrival instructions directly with the organiser; the details for one distance should not be assumed to apply to all five.
