What to expect

B-Quik Khao Yai Marathon opens its 2027 weekend with an expo and a 2-kilometre family run on Saturday 9 January. The other four distances follow on Sunday 10 January: 42.195 kilometres, 21.1 kilometres, 10 kilometres and 5 kilometres. The organiser identifies Khao Yai Activity Ground in Mu Si, Pak Chong as the start and finish venue.

The programme separates competitive distances from the shorter participation runs. The official website says the 5- and 2-kilometre categories are non-competitive. For the marathon, half marathon and 10 kilometres, it describes age-group and overall awards. This gives different members of a group a choice of distances, but each participant should check the eligibility and registration conditions for the category they want.

The event also has a creative and charitable theme. Announced artwork developed with Art Story involves young autistic artists, while the wider fundraising aims support local schools and the national park. Use the official 2027 programme when making arrangements: the family run and expo are on Saturday, whereas the main race morning is Sunday.
