What makes a useful photograph?

Include the full frontage and roofline, an angled view, or the entrance and readable sign. Daylight and original files work best. Camera GPS marks where you stood; the place pin marks what you photographed.

How to save location with your photos

Samsung / Android: Turn on your phone’s Location. In Camera settings, turn on Location tags (sometimes under the four-dot Quick controls). Allow Camera to use location while using the app. Menus vary by model. Take a test photo, then open it in Gallery and swipe up or open Details to look for a map. Samsung camera help · Gallery help

iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Camera → While Using the App. Enable Precise Location for a more useful pin. Take a test photo; in Photos, swipe up or tap Info to check its map. Apple location help · Photo info

Keep originals: Transfer the original file by cable or AirDrop. For AirDrop/iCloud sharing, check Options → Location and All Photos Data where available. Messaging apps may remove location information. Check the result here before submitting. Apple sharing options

Enabling location now does not add it to older photos. This form reads JPEG and PNG; HEIC is not supported. You can always confirm a building manually.

JPEG or PNG, up to 8 MB and 50 megapixels each. Three photos per batch; ten per account per day. HEIC and video are not supported yet. Private originals may contain embedded location information. Avoid personal documents and unnecessary faces or number plates.

Every contribution enters review. Uploading never publishes a photograph or replaces an accepted model. You choose whether public display and use for modelling are permitted. For a correction or withdrawal, send your receipt to the person who shared this site.
